Visit in Auschwitz Birkenau museum
A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum is a very moving and educational experience. It is a memorial site of the German Nazi concentration and extermination camp established during World War II by Nazi Germany. It represents one of the most painful chapters in the history of Poland and Europe.
Between 1940 and 1945, about 1.1 million people were murdered in the camp, most of them Jews, as well as Poles, Roma, and prisoners of other nationalities. When deciding to visit this place, visitors should show respect and wear appropriate clothing, remembering that it is a site where so many people lost their lives. note: price does not include a ticket!
